Wo wir schon einmal bei der Bibel waren, nehmen wir auch heute einen Witz,\u00a0der in diese\u00a0Richtung geht. Ich weiss schon, warum ich mich im Garten auf mich selbst verlasse, und nicht auf die Hilfe anderer setze. Wenn etwas schief geht, kann ich wenigstens niemand anderen dafuer verantwortlich machen,\u00a0nur mich selbst. Das gilt fuer irdische, aber auch fuer\u00a0himmlische Hilfe. Bisher bin ich damit ganz gut gefahren.\u00a0Mein heutiger\u00a0Witz zeigt auch, warum. \u00a0<\/p>\n

A farmer purchased an old, run-down, abandoned farm with plans to turn it into a thriving enterprise. The fields were grown over with weeds, the farmhouse was falling apart, and the fences were broken down.\u00a0 During his first day of work, the town preacher stops by to bless the man’s work, saying, „May you and God work together to make this the farm of your dreams!“\u00a0\u00a0 A few months later, the preacher stops by again to call on the farmer.\u00a0 Lo and behold, it’s a completely different place.\u00a0 The farm house is completely rebuilt and in excellent condition, there is plenty of cattle and other livestock happily munching on feed in well-fenced pens, and the fields are filled with crops planted in neat rows.\u00a0 „Amazing!“ the preacher says. „Look what God and you have accomplished together!“\u00a0 „Yes, reverend,“ says the farmer, <\/strong><\/p>\n

„but remember what the farm was like when God was working it alone!“<\/strong><\/p>\n
